Description of Neck and Thorax Precut Splint
A Neck and Thorax Precut Splint, also known as Thermoplastic Precuts, is a kind of Low-Temperature Thermoplastic Sheet. It is a new type of polymer material made of specially synthesized polymer polyester treated by a series of physical and chemical methods. It is a pre-cut sheet. The Thermoplastic Precuts is in a stable state at room temperature (10-30℃), and it can be softened after being heated in water at( 65-70℃)for 1-3 minutes. After softening, it has a good molding effect and hardens in minutes.
The Neck and Thorax Precut Splint is a custom-made medical device. After neck or spine surgery, cerebral palsy and children’s scoliosis correction, spinal injury, etc., keeping the spine physiologically bending, making lumbar spine spinal muscle and soft tissue to get sufficient rest.
